ARF-Québec is pleased to introduce its new 2019 Board of Directors.

ARF-Québec has a new board of directors for under the chairmanship of Laurent Plourde, President of Groupe Voyages Québec. At LaSalle College on Thursday, May 9th, ARF-Québec held its eleventh Annual General Meeting to present its 2018 Activity Report and 2019 Strategic Action Plan to its membership.

The ARF-Québec is proud to announce the appointment of Laurent Plourde, President of Groupe Voyages Québec, as President for the next two years. In 2018, the ARF-Québec celebrated its 10 years of service to members and promoting its sector. I wish by my contribution to ensure that the ARF-Québec City and its members are becoming key players in B2B and B2C international promotion and ensure long-term technological financing for our sector for increased Quebec packaging in international and national markets" points out Laurent Plourde.

 

The ARF-Québec is also pleased to welcome two new directors to its board of directors. Ms. Andrée Boisvert, Commercial Director of Misa Tours, will contribute her 20 years of expertise to the German market. Mr. François Ouimet, co-founder of Les Promotions Zone, specializing in the student and corporate market, and vice-president of the new Canada Découverte receptive agency, The Executive Council will always rely on the expertise of Étienne Morissette, who is committed to exchanging ideas and strategies for sustainable development that will benefit all stakeholders in Quebec’s tourism sector. General Manager of Omnitour for the school market and Hector Teigeiro, President of Canadian receptive Tours for the South American and Mexican market.

 

Mr. Jason Picard-Binet, Marketing Advisor, Tourisme Autochtone Québec, Ms. Nathalie Revah, Senior National Sales Manager, Governing Hotels, Mr. Robert Lancup, Trade Commissioner of the Office du tourisme de Québecet Mr. Guillaume Travert, Trade Commissioner of Tourisme Abitibi-Témiscamingue, will bring their complementary expertise to the Board. Mr. Georges Vacher, Transat’s founding member and former Deputy Minister of Tourism, was reappointed by the Board as an external expert in policy and strategic partnership.
